ISL SAFE GUARD POLICIES

ISL's robust Safeguarding policy is updated in a timely manner, following the guidelines and directions of the United Nations Convention on Children's Rights. It is a guide to the health, well-being, and safety of students and its community members.

Safeguarding policy

Our foremost priority at ISL is to safeguard the well-being of the children under our care and the faculty and staff members who look after them. We accomplish this in a variety of ways.

At the beginning of the Academic year, our staff and faculty are updated on the overall health and safety briefing.

Our security team is entrusted with the physical security of our campuses. Our school campus has an extensive surveillance camera network that keeps our students and employees safe and secure.

Our school campus undergoes regular, rigorous inspections from local authorities and is equipped with fire safety systems.

ISL maintains a comprehensive crisis management plan to handle a variety of emergency scenarios. We run regular drills once a semester to ensure understanding and preparedness during actual emergency situations.

Digital internet usage and safeguarding commitment forms are mandatory for all ISL members.

School nurses are always on standby to assist in any emergency.

The ISL safeguarding committee ensures and guides school staff and students on safety and well-being on the school campus. We have demonstrated our commitment to the various areas of our school campus/ recognise, respond to, and report.

Before joining, a thorough candidate profile check is a must. All documentation, including a reference check and police clearance certificate, must be submitted.

The School Management has complied with all the relevant State and International laws regarding Child Safeguarding. All ISL members and students must adhere strictly to the following Child Safeguarding guidelines.
